Write a Comparative Film Review of
The Guide to the Perfect Family &  
Gifted 

Here you can find activities to practise your writing skills. You can improve your writing by understanding model texts and how they're structured.  There are different types of model texts, with writing tips and interactive exercises that practise the writing skills you need to do well in your studies, to get ahead at work and to communicate in English in your free time. Take the free online English test to find out which level to choose. Select your level, from A1 elementary to C1 advanced, and improve your writing skills at your own speed.

This sets the context for your review. (a) Offer a brief summary of the film's plot without giving away major spoilers. (b) Comment on the director's choices and whether they effectively helped the story. (c) Judge the performances of the actors. Were they believable? (d) Provide concrete examples to support your opinion.

(e) Reflect on who the intended audience might be. 

(f) Summarize your thoughts and provide a final verdict. Did you find it frustrating, boring, or funny? (g) You might compare their star-rating (out of four stars) or simply state why you prefer one film over the other.
