Why homework for ESL learners is beneficial:
a. It increases speaking time. Since adults often have busy schedules, assigning homework allows you to practice and reinforce language skills outside of class.
b. It provides time for review and reinforcement. Homework provides an opportunity for you to review and consolidate the material covered in class.
c. It creates a sense of empowerment. By taking responsibility for your own learning process, you may feel empowered.
